This is an insanely light board. It felt soft at first, because it's pretty flexible tip-to-tail. I was worried that it would be too soft, but it has enough torsional stiffness, but I've gotten used to it. It seems to hold an edge as well as stiffer boards, but also absorbs rough terrain and impact really well.

This is a board you have to get used to. It's got a different feel to it than the other boards I tried, not as typical or predictable at first, very lively. It's stable at high speed, but flying diagonally across bumpy terrain it's light weight and liveliness doesn't inspire confidence--although that's a tough situation for any board. I'd prefer to have a slightly heavier, slightly stiffer board.

One warning on the Lithium and newer Morrow boards: the stance patterns are wide--really wide. I do not know what these guys are smoking, but on the narrowest mounting holes the bindings are still wider than my old board (which was both comfortable and 'correct', in my opinion). It's a drawback, but I've basically gotten used to it.

(follow-up note): This board does weird things under my feet... the nose is so soft that leaning forward on hard turns can cause the nose to completely deform and wash out. The other thing is that coming out of hard turns the whole board 'twangs'--it just completely changes shape while your trying to transition into the next turn... same thing when you hit big crud; the board is just too lively and reactive... but on groomed or powder, this thing carves perfectly. Turn initiation is easy, so this would be a great beginners board. Short radius carving turns on steep are sweet, this is where that flex comes in handy... if you can get a rhythm down in moguls, this board pops you out of the holes like a spring... in short, it's a soft board that does some things really well, but has problems in certain situations because of the flex...
