I notice the other riders in this column rate this board bad. I bet if I stamped a k2 or Burton logo on it they would wet their beds with joy. The fact is that this board is a wood core and is very responsive. The flex is moderate. My brother has been boarding for 10 years and now is an instructor. He rode a burton for 5 years and after taking this jolt board out for 1 day he cashed in the burton for a similar baord to mine. I would recommend this board to any intermediate rider. The edges hold great and it is an awesome buy for the $$. I bought mine used for $50. If you want a nice board at a reaonable price snatch one of these up if you can find them!!!!! and then beat it while you save up for your $500 board
