This board has been a good board for me. The 158 has a really soft flex, so if you leen to one side enough you can make a little spring back and forth from side to side. It seems to land fine if you keep your board paralell to the ground. But if you dont get it completely paralell, your edge is going in the snow because of the funky way they designed the edge. The edges are extended out so you can cut turns, but when you hit angled jumps or carve into powder, you may get stuck. The bindings are fairly good because their base is metal and they have plastic straps with ratchets. The board's price was ok since I got it in the beginning of the boarding season. If you are getting a beginning board for your career, then this is a fairly good board since it's cost is low. This is a good board for beginners, but two major down factors are that the board has a soft bottom, so it scratches quite easily, and it weighs about 11lbs. with bindings. But you shouldn't notice it, unless you're weak.
