This board is pretty good for a beginner. It has medium flex, but doesn't turn on a dime. The board is pretty light, which is good for the lighter riders. Since I have only been riding for a couple of years, I am not sure of all the snowboarding terminology, but I know it is a sweet board. It is also available for a sweet price. I like it alot, because it can spin good, and is cool in the pipe. I do crazy stuff, and it hasn't broke on me yet, so that means it is pretty good, right? I like it alot.
