Overall, this is a good beginning board. I say this because the high flex is forgiving. The board is not very responsive, and big airs are hard to pull off. I don't know the grade of the base, but my friends always kick my ass on straight lines, so it can't be good. The graphics are dull. This board, however, is tough. I have been beating it up for three years now and there are still only minor scratches. I would not recomend this board for experienced riders, but it is great for beginners.
