I would have given it a ten, but I have only ridden a few decks. The board handles quickly through all turns, has lots of snap, and is fast! Handles well in powder. The board turns on a dime, which takes getting used to, but once you do, you are carving at blazing speed. Seems to hold up well to abuse, and has lasted two plus seasons with still a lot of snap in it. I recommend this board to any rider who wants to tear it up. of couarse finding a 98 will be hard. The new nitro natural is the 00 replacement for the Neary model, and is supposed to be configured almost the same.
