Not an alpine race board, but a "surf=style" carving board. The Maverick is the board I crossed over onto from carving skis. Courduroy or groomers are the runs to seek. I have less than 20 days riding on this board. The last days of 1998 were awesome. This board can hold edge. Two others commented that my style indicates I ride with years of experience. I say it was the board that help me to reach this level. This board has made going to the local areas Michigan FUN again. The Maverick was also one of 12 boards selected as one of the top Freecarve boards for year 2000in the October 1999 issue of Snowboard Life. I feel like a kid again in anticipation of the 99/00 season - COME ON SNOW!
