I have had this board for two years now. The only reason I am going to give it up this season is beacause it is too small. This is a great begginer board, and is in a decent price range (325$). The edges are good they can hold a nice long carve, but can also preform sharp litte carves with little effort. I have found the board to be extreamly flexable(Normaly a beginer would want flexable while a more advanced rider would want stiffer.) I have ridden all types of terrain on this board every thing from ice to powder to the pipe and terrain park, it preforms great in all conditions. This board has a solid wood core (not sure what type of wood the core is made of) and a sintered bottom. The only downside to this board is it is a little heavy. I really, really like this board and highly recomend it to anyone.
