If you’re a beginner\intermediate freerider this a stick for you. Globe is quite light, stable and forgiving, which surely will increase your skills. In general, I have to say that flex is rather stiff and don’t expect great pop. However, it is enough for an intermediate to jump some decent airs or do some grabs but nothing more serious. You have to remember, however, that it is a typical freeriding stick, which is seen in its shape and appreciate in its good edge grip while curving. For the prize you pay you get unbelievably good performance in all kinds of mountain terrains, from deep pow to icy slops. I even tried this stick on a halfpipe and even though it wasn’t a perfect choice it did quite good. The only problem is its base; the material is too soft and way too slow for more experienced riders. So crossing some larger flat pow areas is not a smart idea! (unless you have a pair of snowshoes w/ you). I would surely recommend it to a definite freerider who is right after the beginner stage but not fully intermediate. In my case, Globe helped me in a smooth transition to advanced freeriding, while it also left me some money for ski-passes!
