I love this board. I've tried a few different brands, including Burton and Salomon, but this is my favorite. Its got a great feel and it carves well. The V-shaped insert in the nose helps with the flex of the board, giving it a stiff, yet responsive feel (check out their website, www.avalancheusa.com to see the V insert). It also has extra binding screw holes for a more customizable stance. I have big feet, (size 12) and I have little, if any, heel or toe drag, even without gas pedals. Plus the lifetime warrenty kicks ass, if it ever breaks. I watched a guy land a jump on another avalanche model and he bent the tail to a 90 degree angle, and it just flexed back into place. I was impressed. Great board for freestyle or freeride.
