This is a wee little board that I bought with the intention of cutting off the tip and screwing it to the top of another race deck to act as a derby. Took it out for giggles and was blown away with how well a little board could rip. It was hero snow, so I can't comment on ice grip, but there is so little effective edge a guy my size would die on ice with this. Still, if I ever have to move from Oregon to NJ, this little guy could make the people dodging fun! More punch then I expected, and if you can still find one, I'm sure it would make a great starting board for a kid or small woman/man just getting into alpine. For me, its a super backpocket sized toy when I'm hanging out with friends who are new to snowsliding. Glad i didn't cut the nose off =)
