I don't have much to compare it to since it was my first board, but I learned to do things like Indy 360's and big 180 nose grabs. While freeriding it was great until you go into ice, then u were in trouble. I never tested it in the pipe because there was never enuf snow for that(im in Maryland.) The price was right ($210) and it gave me two good years where I out performed friends riding Burtons. HA HA ! The big problem came when the topsheet came loose from the rest of the board and allowed water to penetrate causing the demise of the board. The wood inside eventually turned mushy which is and interesting experience to ride on but is not recommended. Still it was good while it lasted.I give it a 7.
