At first, I was really impressed with this board. I bought it after my 1st season of riding and it was a major improvement to the used board I bought to start with. Bear in mind that a season in Southern Michigan really isn't that much, it held up well for the first season and a half. However, now that I have gotten better, I began testing it harder (learning to jump, testing out the pipe, etc.). After a marathon session this New Year's of 5 straight days of riding, a couple days off, then another couple days riding, the board cracked! The front from the binding to the tip now folds like a piece of cardboard. There is also a tear in the top layer of fiberglass where my front toes are directly over. I've never seen anything quite like this. After talking with a few people at local snowboard shops, I was informed that Morrow doesn't use a wood core construction, but instead, a foam insert (at least this was their explanation, although they aren't sure if this is!still the case today, but that was their opinion about Morrow's older boards). I'm not sure if this is true or not, but since I can SEE the inside of my board through the 4 inch long crack, I sure don't see anything that looks like wood. I only see the fiberglass shreds and something that looks like foam to me. Unfortunely, I've owned the board for 1 year and 8 months, and Morrow's warranty in 12 months. So, there is a good possiblity that I might not even be able to do anything about it. If this is the case, I doubt that I will be buying another Morrow.
