I'd class myself as an intermediate/advanced rider and I like to ride the whole mountain. I'd heard lots about the Timeless over the years and had heard many comments about it being too stiff. Well my old Burton Custom had begin to annoy me so much that I just went out and bought a '64 Timeless a couple of weeks ago. For the first couple of days I would say that the board was a bit too stiff compared to the 2003 Custom that I rode. However, after about a week on it the board really started to shine! My initial concern was that it was so stiff that it lacked pop. After a bit of riding on it though, it started to show its true colours. It is a really fast and stable board. Get it waxed up properly and ride hard on it and you'll definately be the fastest down the mountain and really have a scream riding it. I rode it in the park and also in the pipe and the board definately performs well. That stiffness translates pretty well into pop and I rode off some of the biggest booters that I have ever ridden on the Timeless! All in all a good all round board that definately lends well to aggressive riders. After 4/5 days on it I forgot all my initial concerns.
