I bought this board last year to learn snowboarding on. Although I am 1.86 m., I decided to buy this board in 159, because it was a really good deal, and my budget was low. I haven't regretted my decision for one second! My feet are size 46 (11? 11.5?) and the waist width of the Spectrum Wide is 26,5 cm. I put Flow's on top of it, with Nitro Tangent boots, which fit perfectly, and experienced NO heel or toedrag whatsoever! It's a great beginners board, very forgiving, yet has a nice stiffness and flex. You can make good air with it, and because of the width it's very stable in the landing. Overall, stability is one of this boards strong points. Also, turning is made real easy with the Spectrum (although that might also have had something to do with the shorter lenght). The price isn't too shabby either: New, it cost 300 euro's (about 330 dollars), and because it was last year's model I got it for 210 euro's. Before this board I rode a rental Burton Bullet, and a Jagaball Edition 3000 (DO NOT BUY FROM JAGABALL!!! THEY DON'T KNOW THEIR OWN PRODUCTS: On their site they claimed the Ed. 3000 had a waist width of 25,9 cm, but when I got it it was only 24,5 cm!) Both of these other boards were nice (apart from the width thing), but couldn't hold a candle to the Spectrum. Some downsides: Top-layer chips easier than the average board, base could be al little harder too. But these downsides are nothing compared to the good qualities of this board: If you're a beginner with big feet: GET THIS BOARD!
