I wanted to become a more advanced rider, and my Limited All-Around 164 wasn't cutting it. I researched boards for a month before deciding on Option. The Signature is heavier, and the topsheet chipped rather easily after one weekend, but the store sanded the edges and it should be fine now. It has plain black and blue graphics, which appealed to me, as did the fact it was handmade in Canada. I use it for carving the long runs in Banff and Jasper, and for this the Signature is perfect. There was no learning curve--I loved it from the first run. The board floats nicely in the pow in the morning, and carves beautifully once the runs become tracked. What I really like is how stable and fast it is on the flats, and when I run narrow sections and trees. I was tempted to get the wider Free Plus, but I'm glad I didn't. Flex? I suppose it is stiff, but I weight a lot. I think once the board works in a bit the icy sections will be more manageble as well. I have Salomon SP4 bindings, which are also a touch heavy, but the straps are awesome, and after 2 days of riding nary a screw needed adjusting.
