This board is pretty amazing. It's super light and very stiff. Although many people say it's a very hard board to ride, I thought it was easier than I had expected (coming from Palmer Carbon Circle, another stiff board, may be the reason). First thing I noticed when I straped into the bindings was how light the board was. Next thing is when I was carving, I was surprised by the difference of the feel of the Progressive sidecut. It felt like it had much deeper sidecut and accelerated me out of the turn. It has high camber and this may have contributed to popping me out from a turn. One thing I don't like is that when you are just starting down the slope(slowly), it's fairly hard to intiate the turn, but once you pick up some speed, carving is easy. It holds edge very well(equally or better than Palmer Carbon Circle) and response is instant. I wouldn't recommend it to the beginners, but if you are willing/like to go fast and sacrifice low speed manuever, this board is for you. I Love this board.
