----------///=========( Review )=========\\\----------

Although I only recently made the switch from skiing to boarding I feel it is relevant for readers of this web site who are also beginners to understand the potential pros and cons of riding a higher end board when just learning.All you may have read about this board being tough is likely true.I recently left the chair lift only to "crash and turn" the tip into a nice firm piece of unmovable plywood.Needless to say the damage was imperceptable.As far as riding a stiffer longer board with regards to initiating those first crucial first turns,..?Not an issue at all.In fact the characteristics of the board have helped me to be more precise and technically correct.What one shop owner told me was adaptiveness at any level of ability is purely up to the individual and their attitude.To a degree he is likely right but I still would not buy a Ride Timeless as my first board.Another interesting factor in the decision to ride this mid-wide board is my size 13 boots.One might wonder how this is possible?Well just as my research and endless conversation with people more in the know revealed:toe overhang is an overstated and exaggerated problem because so far it has not even been slight problem.Finally I would like to add that having a heavy duty board like this is very reassuring to a beginner especially when riding in the crud for the first time.I just know I can skid till the cows come home and only the mountain will break up and not my bones.Anyway this was not a performance review obviously but as you all know once you start talking about boarding you can't shutup?
