2003 Forum JP Walker 154.5 is a great all round freestyle board, but better off in powder for people 5'6" and shorter, but for park and handrails, and other types of jibbing this board does it, it has an overall softer flex with twin flex profile and slightly directional shape this board has MAD pop, but is still forgiving for good nosepress, or tailpresses. The sidewall edges with capped tip and tail is super strong, and give the board a better overall flex than totally capped boards, and its more durable. This season Forums boards are much lighter than they have been in the past, compared to the 2002 JP Walker 154 this board is about 30% lighter. I would suggest this to anyone that rides a lot of park and rails, and handrails, but I am not sure about powder because of its short length, mayby get the 159cm for powder riding if your over 5'6" tall. For a good freestyle backcountry board I am debating on the Devun Walsh 157, 161, or Bjorn Leines 158, or 160... but I have no clue seeing as how there are not very many reviews, and I dont know much about which size would work best for me in the powder. I would think the JP would be to soft though.
