I think this is an awesome freestyle board. It is very snappy, and give you a great amount of pop on ollie. The narrow waist and deep sidecut gives quick and responsive edge to edge allowing you to make quick adjustment when lining up for a rail, jump or pipe wall. The stiff (but not dead) flex yields you very solid on landings. This board is great - as mentioned before it has a three year warranty, which is quite nice.
One thing is that this is a dedicated freestyle board, you can use it outside of the park, but just isn't as good there. So if you aren't the type of person that spends a lot of time in the park, I wouldn't use this as my only board (I have a Salomon Definition for all-mountain free-riding). The stiff nose is great for nollies and when riding switch, but without that extra bit of dampening that you find with the softer nose of a freeride board (like the Definition) you will find yourself getting knocked around when riding through sloppy crud. The deep sidecut also means the board will whip around turns, sometimes faster and more hurried than you want it to be, especially at high speeds (not the board to throw down big, deep carves). So buy this board for the park and pipe - if you only occasionally do freestyle try the SL (still freestyle oriented). For more freeride oriented, try the Premier or the Legacy (all Neversummer). If you want to try another brand, I happen to like Salomon a lot. I've ridden two 450s and now their Definition board. I've heard good things about the Fastback as well (for freeriding). I'm a little confused at Salomons recent freestyle offers (just stumbled across the "Pact" which is suppose to be their end-all halfpipe board... would have considered it if someone actually carried in their store and if I actually heard of someone riding it). Anyways... good luck
