My previous board was a Heelside 157 and now have a Burton 162. I am comparing two different length boards so an accurate comparison is difficult. What I did notice about the Custom is that it is much stiffer, which I felt helped control. All in all I think most boards feel the same and you are kidding yourself if you think you can tell a great deal of difference between boards. The Custom is as good a board as any. The only problem I can tell is the top laminate seems a little brittle and may be prone to cracking/delaminating.
