I really like the sentiment behind Chorus (woman-owned, rider-owned), so I wish I could say nicer things about this board. There's nothing really wrong with it, but there's also nothing really great about it. It's very average in every area. Turns ok, but not great. Actually kinda sucks for big mountain style carving. Decent weight - definitely not too heavy but not notably light, either. Flex is average. It's a good all-mountain board for an intermediate rider who isn't doing anything too exotic. Hopefully the women at Chorus will realize who their true market is and start making some appropriate boards. On a purely superficial level, Chorus has got to get some better model names. Confidence? Come on! Their other models are called things like Determination, Respect, Strength, Hope, Agility. It's pathetic. If I wanted that vibe, I'd take up step aerobics or something. How about stiffening these boards up, giving them reasonable sidecut, making the flex more suited to an aggressive (but relatively light) rider, and calling them something that more suits the women who put the company together. Any of the ski manufacturers can put some soft colors on a pice of flop and call it a women's board, but the Chorus folks can do better. This board is a disappointment.
