Pros The Classic is a light board It is very well constructed,I liked this board much better than the construction of the Gnu Carbon High Beam and Burton Indie For a beginner it has a right amount of flex, I didn't find it too stiff. The base is fast, it is a graphite base. I was able to link my turns much better after getting this board, but it might be due to the fact I'm not using crappy rental boards and I had more practice. Cons If you don't find a sale, it is pricey. Gear Direct.com had it for $269.99 The topsheet was easily scarred, well not that big a deal... Great Board, but find a sale first. I don't regret picking the palmer over the GNU or the Burton.
