I think I can speak for most "larger" riders when I say that most snowboards are not made for people of any significant size or weight. Don't get me wrong, I am not overweight, yet my size eliminates 90% of the boards suitable for me. The Canyon however, is the first board I've ridden that I truely feel can take whatever I throw at it. Whether it's carving fast or turning slow, it goes in any direction effortlesly. For its size I think it's pretty light. It is a wide board which is imperative for my boot size. Many people say wide boards don't turn well, but I think this is all relative to the hieght and weight of the rider. Shorter people with big feet can not turn a wide board as well as a taller person. It pretty much comes down to physics.E=MC2 I love my Canyon!
