This is an awesome board that provides everything a beginning rider needs and goes on to provide everything that an advanced rider craves. The Canyon 168 is somewhat stiff and therefore holds turns well. Razor sharp proformance adds to the overall versatility of this board. It may be a bit much for the beginning boarder to handle unless thay have a feel for the board and what it can do. This board is a little on the heavy side but is perfect for the large footed, larger sized rider who demands proformance from their board. IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE BOARD IT SHOULD BE THE BURTON CANYON!
