just as i expected, this is the true allrounder. it has a nice mid flex pattern, soft enough for freestyle moves, yet not anywhere near unsecure at high speed. it is not superstable run flat, though. carved on the edge, which is easy, it holds the turn really well. the tight sidecut also makes for great maneuverability. the added width and the nose give great powder float. the base is solid and fast on any snow, and the edges are as tough. not to mention the great and simple design. the canyon provides for a well dampened, yet agile and relaxed ride for most riding styles. especially suitable for less ideal offpiste conditions, as it doesn't take much power to ride. i really like this one. btw i ride it with size 10-11 boots, and no problems with edge-to-edge. just carving peasure. i totally second the description given by burton, it is an outstanding do-everything board.
