I found this Lamar XTRA on sale for around $70 at Sportmart and impulsively purchased it thinking it represented good value. For additional comparison, It's also nearly identical in construction to the Limited Freedom. The XTRA is probably best suited for beginner up to advanced riders. The Lamar Xtra just does not have quite enough substance in the way of board construction, or tenacity & edge bite as a carver to make it suitable as an experts board. It is a fun board which works best on pristine snow conditions. It's stable, very light weight, turns easily thanks to generous sidecut, and could probably double as a freestyle board. If you are a beginner looking to improve, or an advanced rider content to ride mostly on Blue & green trails, than a copy of this board will do you justice. My 163cm feels much shorter under foot, so don't be afraid to purchase a few cm longer size than you normally use.
