THISboardIStheSHIZAT. the BSOD is the best snowboard i've ever ridden. the flex is nice and stiff to land your sh!t and give your ollies loads of pop yet still soft enough to do nosepresses (although i sometimes have difficulty with them because i'm a weak s.o.b.). the BSOD turns like a dream and is very predictable, it's so easy to initiate turns, it goes exactly where you want it to go. the agressive sidecut will give you those tight carves you were always looking for. for a cap snowboard, it offers a damn stable ride (although not quite like a sidewall board). the BSOD feels feather light in comparison from my last board, a Limited Twin from back in the day. overall, this is one sweet ride. there's nothing i can find wrong with it. even the price was cheap (relative to Burton and Forum boards). before i bought this board i was weary of their FREEDOMgrooves, but after riding this deck hard, i can honestly say that they work quite nicely. and they won't pop out like other sliders. although, after one long rough day of riding, i noticed my bindings slid an inch or so wider (but i'm almost sure this was because i didn't crank my hardware properly). the FREEDOMgrooves also allow you to get infinite stance options to suit your needs. the waist width is quite narrow so for all you big dawgs just step up to the 158 or next years 162. i think i've made myself clear: this stick shreds. however, i do not recommend other riders to buy the BSOD because the best thing about this snowboard is that not too many people ride one. support jasonBROWN and his company, CAPiTA.
