This board has ALOT of flex!!! Carves very well! Also, a very good board on ice! It's not very heavy...with bindings (burton customs) it weighs apx. 13lbs. Pretty tough durable board, I literally beat the crap out of this board (I hit the slopes 34 times this season! ...also took this bad boy to Vermont on a trip!) I hit trees, rocks, stumps, branches, you name it, I hit it! ...never had a deep scratch - maybe just luck! ;) I'd recommend this board to any beginner out there...I'm definitely keeping it for next season!
