When i popped an ollie off this board i was pleasantly surprised! Two thumbs up for the spring! Bought it towards the end of 2002 Aussie season from Mordy Snowboard Connection as an ex-rental. Only been ridden 11 days, not a single scratch, as good as new. MSC paid ~$600AUD, i bought it for ~$280AUD cuz the dude in the shop is cool. Turning and manoueverability is good; manufacturer specs say that even though it's crazy in the park and pipe, it's centered 1 inch back so that you've got stability for carving. For a shorter board that i like for tricks, i think this -1 inch thing gives great value for $$$. i'm going to NZ next year and can't wait to ride this board-- I'm sure it won't let me down when riding pow. My best advice for anyone buying new gear: invest in a GOOD boot/binding combo. Once you have that right, you're guaranteed control through your body movements, so you dont have to go broke over Burton's latest supercool, super hi-tech, wiz-bang board.
