This board has been like a bullet proofed Cadilac for me. I live and work on a ski moutain in Colorado. Though only riding for a couple years I've tried several brands, and Never Summer has the smoothest ride I've experienced. It's responsive with good edge bite. It shines in its durability. I have landed on a few nicely jagged rocks and found mere scratches that don't even need p-tex. The side walls are incredibly haus. Another snowboarder ran into my board. His edge slammed into my edge. His edge lost mine took a little p-tex and was fine. The "STS Fiberglass" topsheet is structurally sound but very easy to scratch. Bindings tend to wear into the top if no pads are used. Also on the slightly down side is the weight. Its a big board therefor a heavy board. If you are looking for a smooth long lasting board I highly recommend Never Summer.
