If I had to choose one board to travel the world and ride with it would be the Premier 161. This board can handle anything you throw at it be steep, powder, hardpack, corduroy or slush. Being a heavy aggresive rider, I but a lot of strain on my boards. It has a stiff flex which gives just as good as it gets. So much so to really savor it you should throw caution into the wind and ride it with reckless abandon. (The board will protect you.) Its side cut allows you to make great sharp turns, as is quick edge to edge. It gives you a whole new perspective on riding in the trees. Thus allowing you to choose more aggresive lines to stay in the trees longer. My only drawback is that the board is a bit heavy and a bit pricey. (But worth every penny) The people at Never Summer put out superior product. If you have a chance to demo, borrow or buy one you will not be disappointed. Ride it like you stole it. Peace
