I'm a tall skinny guy with size 11 feet, so it is hard to find a board that is long, wide, and flexible. The Ride Mountain is all of those things. It is flexible enough for lighter riders, yet stable enough to hold a carve at high speeds -- even in ice. It floats through powder and stomps landings with the greatest of ease. It is also durable enough to withstand hitting rocks or sliding trees. It is a moderate weight for its hefty size. The only bad point is that the base needs to be waxed often, but it's not much of a problem if you but a stick of rub-on wax and put it on when youve got some down time like at lunch or while waiting for tickets on the morning. The price was somewhere in the $400 range, but it is worth it.
