Oxygen wasn't lying when they gave this board a big mountain rating. I ride here on the east coast all in New England and for the most part this board suits me just fine. Perfect flex and pop and plenty of fun to take into the park. When there is powder to play in this board carves through it as if it were on an autopilot setting. Absolutely beautifull! The only place this board doesn't shine is on hardpack or icy conditions. Although it's capable of carving a nice line, I've found that when the edge gives, it just lets loose whereas when I ride my friends volkl powerframe I can really get down into the carve. I'm willing to bet that this board would be a 10 for some rocky mountain riding but unless your an experienced rider I would stay away from it for a lot of new england hardpack riding.
