I bought this board due to the reviews that described it as a very "surfy" feeling board. This board does do pretty well in the powder, and handles hard packed or icy conditions nicely. I do have some serious problems with the durability of the board. The top layer is prone to delamination and the base seems to chip and gouge easier than most boards. Overall, if you want a great board that needs replacing every season, go for it.
