atlantis is definitely underrated. bought this board for a song from a friend that works for atlantis. it was gonna be my "beater" for the crappy east coast conditions. the first time i rode it, it blew me away. board is has a stiff flex. alittle more stiffer in the tail than the nose. the board carves like its on rails. minimal chatter, even on icy corduroy. this board is definitely not a beginner board. it complements a power type of rider. the board seems nicely balanced, and behaves very predictably in the air. the topsheet paint around the mounting holes are starting to bubble and crack alittle after one season of use...but they appear to be purely cosmetic. the bases and edges are top notch, pretty durable as i have no deep gouges. i would highly recommend this board!
