It's been two decades since I was a young skateboarder in the 70's and I've finally got that same excitement back with snowboarding, and my new Palmer Honeypro is the most seductive inanimate object I've ever owned. The honeycomb in the nose and tail and carbon in the tail end of the wood "X" makes the responsiveness incredibly quick and firm, a truly "snappy" ride that sticks to your body like an added limb, not kidding. The combination of materials also makes for an incredibly light board that magically holds stiff where/when you need it and flexes in the right moments as well. I rode a lot of icy runs in mammoth last week as well and the edges held firm and balanced as on a nice light layer of powder. high on the mountain, i also cut right through 16 inches of powder with nearly the same responsiveness. Frankly, all of the Palmer publicity on the board is absolutely true. This board will be my buddy for years to come.
