i have only owned 1 other board apart from this, a burton floater - this was a great board but after riding the palmer i realisd what i was missing. for a wide board it is extremely responsive, and will cut through powder, slush or ice with ease. it has palmers super fast base, which always helps, and is amazingly stable - i wasnt scared just to stand up and let it go on the flats, because i knew it wouldnt catch an edge or hit me with anything un - expected. it can build your confidence and improve your riding at the same time. you do have to be quite an aggressive rider, but if you know what you're doing, the board will give you no problems at all. a great all rounder
