Head Fusion 159 freeride board is a brand new board from a brand new Company to hit the snowboard scene. I think this board is anything but over-rated. Head manufactures their boards in Sweden, Switzerland? One of those two. The flex in this board is just enough to let you pop those ollies we all so dream of,yet stiff enough to carve into the mountain the s-figure we all crave. The board is light and lets you manipulate it in the air like a sonofabitch. The topsheet design is one that resembles that of the Burton snowboards. Heads boards just allow you to enjoy a ride that doesn't test you brain on mechanics it just lets you enjoy the ride. I've riden Lamar Tahoe 164, great board also, it was just so long that i could only use it for striaght slalom riding, yes it carved like no other but it was just so bulcky in the park that i needed a good freeride board a little shorter. I did a lot of research and was first looking at the big name brand boards (i.e. Burton, K2, Ride) but since i have already ridden all of them i was just looking for an excellent board and name didn't matter. If any one doesn't think of me being credible here are my credentials, I'm a snowboard instructor at Liberty Mountian Resort In VA. I know that each person has their own taste, but if you try this board I bet you'll like it.
