this is not the type of board that you would think a pipe monkey (like kass) would design. when i think of pipe i think narrow with really good edge hold, relatively short, and stiff (for power to boost). but this board long (for me), wide (26cm waist), and very flexy. despite those characteristics this board rides very well for lighter riders. when i stepped on it i thought it was broken because it was so flexy. but i found that the flex caused the board to be more forgiving, which was nice because its a long board on me. i think heavier riders will find this board way too soggy. ill give a thumbs up on the graphics. the base is also really fast. im not sure what is actually involved witht the wax infused base but it is fast. im not sure if i really like gnu's plastic tip and tail because i have already taken some chunks out. and while the construction seemed solid when i first got the board, im wondering if it will break easily. my last gnu's edges started to come out. overall this is a really nice board, good in powder (long and wide) and very forgiving for trying new tricks or riding bumpy terrain.
