Since I was a poor college student when I began snowboarding I was looking for a decent, moderately priced board. With this board I found it. It was around $400 for board, boots, and bindings. It has good flex and it turns great. The weight is fairly light and it carves very well. I think I may be a little big for this board but I can still haul ass down the slopes anyway. Overall I would recommend a board like this to anyone who is just starting and doesn't want to spend a ton of cash or someone who was poor like I was and needed something to do in the cold Michigan winter.
