I've ridden just 4 different boards mostly used, inexpensive, or not the right size, which gets you through in the beginning. I felt in the first 15 feet of the trail how much different this board was going to be. It's light, flexible (but not too much) and and easy to control. It won't tire you out and the transitions are effortless. Also I wear a size 10 1/2 boot (mounted aggressively) and didn't experience much toe or heel drag (although the days I went the conditions were perfect courduroy to loose granular). I recommend the board to any intermediate riders. The retail cost is around $480 and difficult to get a deal because it's a common size.
