I bought this board after recommendation from my local snowboard shop. I needed something that would last a few weeks for an intermediate rider, that I could progress on. Although I had a few reservations when I saw it was a beginner / intermediate board, the guy in the shop said he would be happy to do a full season on one. With that in mind, plus the fact it was dirt cheap, I got one. When I hit the slopes I was pretty stoked. It is so easy to ride and really stable at speed. Sure i've riden better boards. But costing twice as much as this board, they weren't that much better.
I've just done another week of advance boarding on this board with the St Anton snowboard school, and I beat everybody on the time trial with this board, including 2 instructors and 8 other guys, so I reckon it's fast enough for most people.
It carves well, handles powder pretty good, and isn't too bad on landing small kickers. It's a budget Jack-of-all-trades master-of-none type of board. An all-mountain freeride board thats fun to ride. A day-to-day board thats gentle on you when you're hungover, or performs ok when you're feeling brave.
For the price it's an bargain, but if you've got plenty of cash, or need a performance board look elsewhere.
