This board has a fairly soft flex...Very forgiving, if you make a mistake the board will catch you. The wide width is excellent for big footed riders (size 12+/no need to buy a wide board unless you wear a size 12 and above). This board is great for powder the wide nose just floats nicely. It is a chatty board when riding crud, but like I said very forgiving of mistakes...I recommend this board to anyone who does not want to spend alot of cash, but does not want a piece of sh!t...Mervin manufacturing makes GNU and Libtech based out of Washington State, in my opionion one of the best companies in snowboarding...peace!!
