I used this board for the first time this season and though it was fantastic from the word ‘GO’. I managed to give this board a run on just about every condition possible, from packed ice that more resembled glass than snow, to big fluffy mounds of powder. In every case this board held the carve like it was on rails For such a wide board the transition edge to edge was, well amazing (but I do play a lot of football and ruby, so have quite strong legs which helps) and being more used to smaller thinner boards, I thought I would see a massive difference in the turning in general, but this wasn’t the case at all. This is a VERY forgiving board, being as wide as it is and having such a good edge, and I would recommend it to any level of boarder, although very experienced boarders COULD find it a little tame. It will appeal to people who have big feet, which is a common comment I have read in other reviews, but don’t feel that if you don’t have big feet this is not the board for you. I myself am only a UK size 9. On the gentle slope, it’s not the fastest board (but I was using this with the manufactures waxing) and although promoted as a light board, it’s not really. So if you 70lbs with size 3 feet and stick legs maybe it’s not the board for you! To end a positive note, as I should being that love this board, with it’s weight come bomb proof maintenance. I bashed this board over rocks, skiers (just joking), and small animals (again just joking), but at the end of the week it still look almost new. What a board man!
