This board is absolutly amazing. Capita is a new company started by Jason Brown and some other friends of his. Unlike some other companies, Capita don't brag about having the best team or selling the most snowboards. They just concentrate on building a good snowboard that will last.
I was really impressed when my black Snowboard Of Death arrived from Ottawa. The graphics are beautiful and the board looked sweet. The sidecut is really deep allowing easy and sharp carves down the hill. The nose is a bit softer then the tail. This makes nosepresses and nollies easy. This board is alot stiffer then my Seven, but it still isn't too stiff.
The waist width is 24.8. The catalog had a misprint by saying 24.0. So if you have normal sized feet(around 10.5) this board will be perfect.
I really like the Freedom Groove system. This is better then the burton system. This allows a stance exactly where you want it. If an insert happens to strip, you can just put a new one on. If this happened to another board, you probably wouldn't be able to replace the insert.
This board is also super light. When i first tested it out on a jump, the board took off. I needed to get used to it. It is longer then my old board by like 5 cm. I really don't notice the extra length though, except for the stability.
All in all, this is my dream board. I couldn't ask for a better board. Sure the graphics are awesome, but wait till you ride one. You will not want to go back.
I give this board a 10-10. I couldn't find one weak feature on it.
