After boarding with my friends, I absolutely loved this sport! My brother set me up with an older Nidecker Wildmind just to learn. Guess what, I progressed so fast I needed a better and longer board at no time! I think I'm a natural.:) Anyway, I checked out pretty much everything that is designed for my sex. The Burton Feelgood, Ride Fuel, GNU BC, etc offer what I want in terms of quality and material but the price is very steep. Regardless, I was ready to put on a diet and put the money saved on a Feelgood when my research finally paid off -- I discovered the Harvest Women Surf.

At $315 with a sinstered base, triaxial fiberglass, cap construction, and other nice things; this board is a steal! Similar technology on another board would go for $450 at least! I also found out that Harvest is made by Glissade, which make custom snowboards as well as very high-end off the shelves models. So the construction is definitely first grade.

On with the board review, well, it's great! Turning is easy and very stable. And finally, a fast base that allows me to catch up with my friends. The board width is perfect for my size 7 feet and the flex is stiff, but not too stiff like a men's board.

The only minus thing is that I wish they made more colors than just black and white, but it's alright. I see myself getting better and having lots of fun on this board. I think Glissade discontinued the Harvest in 2002. But if you can find one, I very highly recommend!!
