Been riding rentals and friends' boards my first 3 seasons, so I was super excited last year when i got my own Liquid Universe. I'm really dissapointed now that it has fallen apart far too easily. I rode it prety lightly (>10 times) last year. This year I got a job at one of the undersnowed michigan local hills. Maybe its just the ice on the ground, maybe its the fact i've been working predominantly on my switch stance, or maybe its just do to an imperfection on this board.... but the toeside tail curve started to delaminate and bubble and within one week I had about 4.5 inches of the metal trim pop right out. Its been slowly peeling back and i'm online right now trying to figure the warranty out. As for other elements of the boards performance= it's got pretty good flex on the actual deck. Now's the time to see if the company itself has much flex or more merit as for fixing my problem.
