Fastest board I have ever ridden--it has that magic base (like teflon--it doesn't really get cut, but flows around damage, and even a brand new and perfectly burnished scraper cannot shave it--I had to build a belt sander to tune it (it was a good excuse to get perfect tunes every time!). This board is a little stiff and will make you tired in bumps. It is not the best in powder, but certainly OK. I like a stiff board, but I think this could be softer. It has the edge hold of an alpine board and will carve with the best of them. It is also very fast edge to edge. It rides well in all conditions, but can wear you out if you are not tough. I have been looking for a 162 to complete my collection--I think I could carve that little one a little tighter than this 168. I think this 168 has an 11 meter side cut or something. If you decide that you need to be first down the hill and choose to exercise that need on a stylus, let me know so I can get out of the way!
