The Nitro shadow is an excellent freestyle board. It is light weight and snappy with an awesome amount of pop. The tri-progresive sidecut is super responsive and quick to turn from edge to edge. The first time I rode this board I couldnt believe how light it felt. It has a stif flex that throws you off of jumps like you have wings on your feet. It has a fast base that really keeps you moving. Once you leave the park, however its limitations become apparent. At fast speeds it picks up an uncomfortable chatter that makes it hard to hold an edge. But if you want a board to strictly rule the park and pipe, the shadow would be a good choice. It is by far the most fun board I have ever ridden.
